Friendly Frights Sensory PlayÂ
Halloween fun should be for everyone! Friendly Frights Sensory Play is a sensory-friendly Halloween experience created to give participants a comfortable, welcoming space to create, play, and enjoy the season at their own pace.
Participants will be able to choose from a selection of our on-site painting kits, allowing each person to pick a project that interests them. There’s no pressure to keep up with a group or create something a certain way—this experience is all about having fun and making the space work for you.
Headphones will be available for participants who may need a quieter experience.
Each participant will receive a sensory-friendly bag to use during the event and take home.
Social stories will also be available upon request for participants who may benefit from knowing what to expect before arriving or during the class.
We will have team members on-site who have experience working with individuals with autism and understand that everyone may experience a creative environment differently.
Most importantly, Creative Cove is a judgment-free zone. Stimming is welcome. Breaks are welcome. Headphones are welcome. Watching before participating is welcome. Creating differently is welcome. Being yourself is welcome.
Sensory-friendly experiences are especially important to our family, and we want the Makery Studio to be a place where families feel comfortable, supported, and included. There is no expectation to sit still, stay quiet, make eye contact, or complete a project a certain way.
Come enjoy a little Halloween creativity with friendly frights, flexible fun, and absolutely no judgment.

Different needs. Different ways to create. Everyone belongs at the Makery.
